My new little vampire girls... They will soon have  
many friends.....
Scarlett and Violett
So I decided to try something new. I love to collect vintage porcelain
dolls. I take them apart and use their delicate little arms and legs and
heads in my art. I pull off the hair, scrape off all of the glue and clean up
faces. Usually I like to use the dolls head without the hair, but then I am
left with bags of doll hair and pieces and parts of all sizes. I recently
decided to try to re-assemble a few of the dolls that I have taken apart. I
decided to repair and repaint them. I also altered some dresses I have
saved from other dolls and re-dresses them, creating these little vampire
dolls.
Scarlett- For Scarlett I gave her lavender tinted skin, burgundy nails and
lips, tiny white fangs, and kaleidoscope colored eyes. I found her some
nice pale blond hair and some little fawn colored boots.
Violett- For Violett I gave her light blue tinted skin, burgundy lips tiny
fangs and painted huge, round kaleidoscope eyes. I found her awesome
grayish-blond puffy hair, which I absolutely love…. as always more to
come....
